Commercial Tile and Grout Cleaning a Bank in Hueytown, Al

Have you ever walked into a bank and noticed that the tile and grout looked a little dirty? Most banks have some type of tile flooring in their lobby. Due to the heavy traffic that banks receive, this type of flooring is much more durable than carpet. However, just like any other type of flooring, it must be cleaned by a professional or its’ appearance suffers. With tile and grout, simply mopping the tile creates dirty grout. It takes a professional tile and grout cleaner with a powerful machine to restore the tile and grout to its original appearance. So how does the tile and grout cleaning process work when a professional does it?

Prepping the Floor

First, the floor must be clear of any debris and any large objects that the customer desires to be moved. Then, depending on the level of the soiled tile and grout, a solution is mixed and applied generously to the floor. This solution is allowed to sit for approximately 15 minutes to break down the dirt and grime. This tile and grout cleaner may be applied with a pump up sprayer or a hydro-force sprayer.

Scrubbing the Grout

Once the cleaning solution has set for 15 minutes, the grout is ready to be scrubbed. A brush made specifically for scrubbing grout is used and every grout line must be scrubbed to loosen the dirt. It is important to make sure no line is missed as it will show up once the water is extracted.

Cleaning the Tile and Grout

The final step is the use a tile and grout cleaning wand to clean and extract the dirty water from the tile and grout. The wand sprays high pressure water in a rotating motion with water of about 240 degrees. The wand also has a powerful vacuum on it so it extracts the dirty water simultaneously so no dirty water settle back into the grout.
